Psidium lucidium

Psidium lucidum or yellow strawberry guava, usually have fruits larger than both the yellow fruited Psidium littorale or the red fruited Psidium cattleianum. The seeds of Psidium lucidum are in general smaller and more plentyful than the seeds found in Psidium cattleianum or in Psidium littorale fruits.

Psidium littorale or yellow spindle fruited strawberry guava, the fruits are often smaller than the yellow strawberry guava Psidium lucidum, and usually contain a few seeds which are bigger than the Psidium cattleianum or Psidium Lucidum seeds. The Psidium littorale grows taller than both the Psidium lucidum and the Psidium cattleianum.

Psidium cattleianum


Psidium cattleianum or red strawberry guava is one of the three main types of Strawberry Guavas in Hawaii. Its fruits are round and there are often seen redness intensity variation of their fruits.
